Bourbon is the quintessential American spirit. The team at Flaviar had a longtime dream of creating their own bourbon, one that would be uniquely American. Instead of competing with several craft bourbon brands out there, they set out to honor them with a whiskey that would unite several craft distilleries from around the country. It took 3 years of experimentation and recipe-tweaking to perfect Corn Trooper, a blend of 7 straight bourbons from 7 different states: Colorado, Texas, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, South Carolina, and Washington. Finally, Flaviar co-founder and Master Blender Grisa Soba settled on whiskeys from OOLA, Breckenridge, Balcones, Highwire, Hartfield & Co., New Holland Brewing, and Kings County. Bottled at 101 proof, Corn Trooper is a true celebration of unity, down to its name was picked out from 10,000 suggestions that Flaviar members contributed.
